{CAUTION} Nanotechnology Is As Dangerous As Nukes

There's a new type of technology in development. It's called Nanotechnology. Nanotechnology can and will in many ways improve the products we are familiar with and make possible many new products.

Nanotechnology is the study of things so small that they are usually smaller than 100 nanometers. That's like slicing a string of human hair into 1/1000th it's normal width. Did you know that 100 nanometers is less than about 1000 atoms across. With Nanotechnology scientist will be able to create extremely light weight material that can be 10x's or more stronger than steel. Even a space elevator is in the makes using this new technology.

With every good thing comes an equal or greater bad side. Nanotechnology may help lead humans in the direction of a disease free world, by creating nanobots that are extremely small and can enter the body virtually undetected by the human host. These nanobots can cling to harmful viruses and bacteria inside the body and dispose of them, while leaving the human host healthy. This, if in the wrong hands can be a very disastrous creation. For example, some terrorist gets a hold of this technology and uses it for war. He could somehow program these nanobots in very large quantities, to completely disassemble you atom by atom. Yes, this may sound like a scene from a sci-fi movie but with nanotechnology, this will certainly soon be an issue amongst humans some day. And let it be known that I was one of the 1st to address this problem, long before it was a problem.

The bible speaks of an end for us and we, in an attempt to improve our lives, constantly create things that we are not totally prepared for as a species.
